How can a place that has been in existence since 1946 be the best-kept secret in an entire region? The truth is that the Oswegatchie Educational Center was primarily a summer camp for most of its history, and it did not open its doors to all people until 1995. The good news for you is that we offer some of the best experiences in one of the most beautiful places, allowing you to spend time with the people you choose.
Our lodges can accommodate groups of 20 or fewer and up to 70. They are great places to start adventures and the perfect places to retreat when meetings are in order. Combined with our outdoor opportunities and various menus, we can promise you an experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Need to Disconnect? One major plus for any group at Oswegatchie is that we are currently without cell phone service and wifi! This means, instead of having a group staring at their phones all the time or calling friends elsewhere, they have no choice but to spend time together. Besides our incredible scenery and good meals, "unplugging at Oswegatchie" is another good reason to be here!
