We want to give a special thanks to the students of the Wildwood Educational BOCES in Hornell NY and their advisors Mike Brewer and Rob Lemay. Over the past 10 years, this group of students have donated and constructed a lean to at one of our various sites at Oswegatchie. This was their 8th lean to given to Oswegatchie. The crew arrives hours after we excuse hundreds of guests from the Adiron Duck Race. They spend the first evening prepping the site, and typically have the entire structure finished by 2 PM the next day.
The crew enjoys time hiking, canoeing, and doing the high ropes before departing on Wednesday morning. This years lean to was constructed at Trout Lake, giving this site its third lean to.
